The new Fortnite Candyman skin has a reactive ability that will creep you out.
A few days ago, we theorized that Epic might be giving us a free skin for Valentine’s Day. We looked at the Candyman skin and the rumors surrounding it and thought that it might be free if you gift it to the friend.
We were disappointed when it came to the Item Shop last night, costing 1,500 V-Bucks. The skin is strange, but you can’t argue that it doesn’t fit the theme of Valentines’ Day.
You may have noticed that the skin’s listed as ‘reactive.’ Well, now we know what’s reactive about the skin. The head turns around when you get a kill, which is more terrifying than it sounds.
I’m not sure what’s creepier; the smile facing the camera or the ‘kiss me’ message to your enemy.

The skin, by itself, is an odd one that seems a tad pricey at 1,500 V-Bucks. If you were on the fence about buying it, this haunting head spin might put you over the edge.
We’ve now seen all of the leaked cosmetics from the v11.50 patch, which means no more new Item Shop additions – short of an encrypted item that the data miners couldn’t find. Let’s just save our money until Season 2 gets here.
